In this post I am going to talk about the Glamour Beauty Festival (8th to the 10th March.) The festival took place in the Saatchi Gallery located in the beautiful neighbour of Chelsea in London.
Although the festival lasted three days (mornings and afternoons.) I only attended the Sunday morning session after I won a giveaway on instagram. I was very excited because it was my first time in one of these beauty events.

The event was very well organised and there were two floors with hair, facial and nail treatments across them. The first floor was based on hairstyle so you could find brands such as Batiste and Maui which offered a braid bar and other hairstyles. Firstly, I had my hair done with Maui because I absolutely love this brand as their products are made with natural ingredients such as aloe vera and coconut water. Then I had my hair done with Batiste so i could have different experience. I don´t normally like using dry shampoo but it can help in a sos hair situation. In this floor you could also have a Elizabeth Aurden consultation and try its latest facial treatment. There was a Boots section where there were brands Iike Essie and Maybelline. The best part is that I could get a free product from the Boots shelves.
The second floor you could find make up section by Huda Beauty, nail treatment by Ruuby or Nails Inc, hand massage and scented tattoos by Molton Brown, etc. I had my nails done with Nails Inc and I went to the Huda Beauty section to for some eye make up. They did an amazing job because my nails and eyes were looking stunning and to be honest I didn't have to wait long for them.

Overall, it was great to have this range of beauty treatments, freebies, photo booths, etc. However, one of the things I would like them to improve is the waiting time for the treatments. Generally, it was not very long, however, it is something it would improve the experience.
Due to the waiting time I wasn't able to try as many as I wanted and that is why I think it would be better if you go for a full day rather than morning/afternoon session.
In addition to all this, you get the chance to attend a talk. I think this is one of the best things of the festival because you can get to know more inspiring beauty bloggers. I went to Meet the bosses talk with Niomi Smart, Patricia Bright, Thea Green and Venetia Archer and I really enjoyed it because they were talking about how they started blogging and what motivated them to continue doing it.

Last but not least, you receive a goodie bag which is worth over 160 pounds! The bag includes products from brands such as Pixi, Maui Moisture, Nails Inc, Elizabeth Aurden, etc. as you can see in the picture.

My favourite products so far are Maui Hair Mask for soft and fresh hair, Nails Inc for beautiful pinkie nails, Burt´s Bees coconut and pear balm lipstick for soft lips and Pixi Retinol Tonic for clean skin.
I would definitely recommend attending the festival because of all the things you can take advantage of in a day.
PS. Good news for those who are interested in attending one because there will be one in Manchester on the 2nd and 3th of November.
I hope this post was helpful and please let me know your thoughts or questions in the comments below.
